January Tests -- welcome to 2017

I had my Provenge and SBRT October 2014. January 2017 blood tests still the same undetectable PSA (<0.1) but also undetectable Testosterone (37).

After having either significant declines or at least a .1 drop for 8 months, mine started up from 1.1 to 1.2 as of last week. I am concerned that the Xtandi has run its course. My Onco agrees, but says we have to see three months of increase (two more) before throwing in the towel and moving to traditional chemo, based on my insurance requirements. So another $30,006 in the toilet, I guess.

I have delayed my official retirement so I can keep my employer-provided insurance.

What does not kill you does not make you stronger, it just comes back and tries again tomorrow.

I guess I don't visit here as much as I used to, but thanks to Compiler for this thread. I had my 6 and a half year checkup last week and happy to say the result was <0.01.
The uro says that maybe in another 6 and a half years I can stop worrying about it.

Now 32 months post surgery, still undetectable at <.02 as of yesterday. Very happy and relieved.
