My husband was 53 when DX.

Read stats below. Became refractory on Degarelix now.

I finally voted in my first poll, finally an easy one, lol.

I was initially surprised to see that the over 65 crowd is only 14% but then I realized the poll really is just a reflection of the age group % of men on healing well. And it makes sense that a larger % of younger men would use the internet for support and information.

But at least it was a fun/easy poll....Jim

Unsurprising bias appears on an online poll.

As of today, in our little HW/PC corner of the world, 10.6% of men responding were 44 or younger, but the recent data across the U.S is that only 0.6% are less than age 44. Do you think younger men are more apt to be on social media like HW/PC?

Here at HW/PC, 43% were under age 55. In the real world, 10% are under age 55.

Yes, my comment was a statement and clarification of the relevant facts.


90% of men newly diagnosed with PC in the U.S. are age 55 and older.

Dx at age 42, AS for the last two years, treatment starts next week at age 44. Family history of Pca on my father's side.

I have posted before. But I would like for my postings about my husband to be included on the G9 list and the long G9 thread. I don't think we are included and it would help me find the continuing posts related to aggressive prostate cancer.

Also, How do I find the list and G9
Also how do I find my earlier posts? ( I have used the google custom search at upper right corner but doesn't work)
