I can see no other way to word this than in my post title. After going about 5 months post RP with little to no ED improvement, I started to see some life. At my 3 month post-op with my surgeon, he stated that somewhere around 7 months-8 months post-op, I should begin to see some improvement, and he told me it should be incremental, getting better and better.
He was right. I did start to see some marked improvement beginning between months 7-8. I did not post anything on HW, BUT about 9 months out I was able to improve enough for penetration (the Eagle has Landed). Since then, over the last 4-5 weeks, I was able to have somewhat 'normal' sex 2 more times (please no comments about un-normal sex! lol), including last night, which by far was my best 'performance' so far! I have been on 5 mg of Cialis daily and 20mg once per weekend. This was not a weekend, so I only had the 5mg in me. I waited to post to make sure this wasn't a fluke and it occurred more than once. It is real. My ED is improving!
I want to put this post out there for one reason, not to necessarily pat myself on the back, but to let those new RP guys that you need to hang in there. Follow a rehab program and stick with it. I thought, at 4-5 months post-op that this part of my life may have been over. I am still a work in progress. I am 75% of what I was, but it is getting better and I have a good partner (my wife) that is willing to work with me.
It's been over 80 degrees here in NJ the last couple days. I hope the good weather is here to stay.
