That is an advantage for Firmagon. Sometimes they'll start with 2-4 weeks of Casodex with the start of Lupron, blocking the testosterone until the Lupron cycle is over and T is very low, generally for those with symptomatic metastases. You might also consider Firmagon for a couple of months, then transfer to Lupron. I know that one relatively painless shot every six months is easier to deal with than a (sometimes) painful monthly belly shot with Firmagon.
