Sure wilderness,
First of all, I've always been healthy, I'm not a junk food person, I've always exercised, and been active. The prostate was like, "ok, I can deal with this". But the lung cancer was devastating, even though my family doctor says I'm one lucky dude, because it was caught so early. After the lung surgery, I quit drinking, quit dairy, started doing yoga, juicing, and the "yuck".
Every morning I have 1 cup of coffee (quitting beer was a cake walk, when compared to trying to quit coffee).
I blend spinach or kale, with a variety of fruit, like apples, pears, banana, pineapple, blueberries, or whatever. I use many of the reciepes from the nutri bullet book. Like I said I chug it down. It wouldn't be bad if not for the green crap. Then I do my yoga for 30 minutes, and walk one or two miles either outside, or on a tread mill, if the weather is bad.
I also have a juicer, I go online and search for juices to help my immune system, or whatever seems to be bothering me, like depression, regularity, sinus, ect. The juice isn't bad, even with the green stuff. I hate carrots, but juiced with oranges, it's not bad. I'll make two or three juices, keep them in the refrigerator. I live in a small town, and I buy most of the produce from Walmart, I buy the organic stuff, yeah, I'll bet it's organic from china???, but that's all we have, or drive 50 miles.
Then I eat regular food for lunch and supper.
I rely on my daughter and her partner. They own (advertising link deleted)l They help me a lot with both the yoga, and food/juice.
I don't know if it helps, because I was doing everything for twos years prior to my PSA becoming detectable again. Frame of mind has more power than everything, and that cancer monkey that every cancer survivor lives with, can be a real determent to your frame of mind.
