Asking advice? Please include location and signature

It really helps responders, like me, if you let us know where you are and what your current situation is.

Your city can help us recommend doctors to you. If outside of the US, treatment choices may be very different.

You can add these items by clicking on "My Profile>Edit Profile." Enter into your signature relevant diagnostics and treatments and their approx. dates. Space is limited, so use abbreviations (e.g., RP, SRT, HDRBT, mCRPC, iADT...). Don't forget to update it.

Newly diagnosed members hopefully will include in signature your highest Gleason score (expressed as X+Y), T stage (based on DRE - not biopsy), latest PSA, prostate size, % positive cores, any relevant imaging info, age, if you are African-American, co-morbidities, and any other known risk factors. And start a NEW thread - don't add a post to an old one.

If you want to be contacted privately, include your email and click "show my email address" under "My Profile" but not in the body of your post.

Don't forget to click "Notify me of reply postings by email" and "Include signature" whenever you post.

I agree this would be very helpful. I'm wondering if it would also be helpful for all of us to do that...not just folks asking for advice.

As usual, TA is right on the money with his advice.

If you check the square below the post that says "Include Signature," it will show up. If you forgot to do that, you can still click on the little "edit post" pencil on the upper right for a second chance.
