There is no uniform "rule" regarding how many days to abstain from sex & biking, but the general rule of thumb for both is "several days" for each based on data collected on the rise (variable) from these activities and the half-life of extra PSA in the blood....abstain for 4 days and you'll be fine. Other exercise will not effect score, unless you are doing something which—like bike-riding—has the affect of massaging the prostate in the crotch area...obviously the vast majority of exercises don't, so you'll be fine.
Nobody would have told you that 10-years is an acceptable period between PSA tests. I think you are mixing up colonoscopy re-test frequency (although even 10-years is longer than most). For those in your age range who make an informed decision to test PSA levels (I am assuming that we are NOT talking about
post-treatment PSA monitoring for you, since you made no mention of prostate cancer treatment), the repeat test should be individualized based on your prior result and other case history factors...but it generally would be 1- or 2- years only. A 58-year old should be having annual wellness physicals—discuss further with your primary care physician.
NOTE: For someone who has had PC treatment, the reply (both paragraphs, above) would be totally different, and dependent upon the type of treatment one had...
