leakage with arousal

I did the first year to year and half following surgery. It eventually became less and less of an issue and is nonexistent now.

It's a pretty common side effect of prostate surgery.

Before you had your prostate removed you had two urinary sphincters. Both respond to arousal. The sphincter on the bladder neck contracts to keep the low-pH urine out of the high-pH semen. The other sphincter (the one you still have) relaxes somewhat during arousal to ensure that semen is ejected forward during ejaculation, not backwards into the bladder.

Yup defintely suffer from leakage and seepage.
No problems after surgery, but then after SRT things gradually got worse over the years. SRT was in 2010.
I've had to wear a pad day and night for several years now to deal with small leaks (I'd call them regular rather than frequent). I;ve also had to have a waterproof sheet on the bed to protect the mattress.
Solution for matters sexual is to keep my underwear on and the pad too and keep dashing to the bathroom. And to make sure that my wife knows what's up.
What does help is getting the position right. Things are usually okay, or less of a problem, if I'm on my back or side. (That's probabluy enough detail for HW)

Not great, but PCa makes you adjust so many things in your life it's starting to feel like less of a problem than when it fiorst happened, but I do find it a problem.

Super helpful information guys, thanks so much. I'll try some of the suggestions. It's just been in the last few months I've had any interest in sexual activity thanks to the Lupron most likely.

Though I remain dead as a door nail in the erection department 3 1/2 years out, I must be cautious anytime I am standing up. Because I have noticed that all it takes is a sexual thought to briefly cross my mind and I might be leaking. At the very least this requires blocking thoughts and a very fast response needed in the Kegal department. This can prove risky if I am taking a walk and a pretty girl passes by. I have found walking on the beach, and all of those bikini clad gals, can prove to be an extreme challenge. Strict control of thoughts is required at those times.

At least I'm feeling more like my old self in the arousal department, I'll just have to put up with the new reality of the urine leak.
