Well I am extremely pleased as a G9 guy with the aggressive actions taken by my medical team. I was give Lupron starting in Dec 2016 and still are along with chemo from Jan 2017 to Apr 2017 6 times 3 weeks apart. Also had radiation once to my hip.
We decide to wait to late June to get a baseline on a bone and cat scan plus blood work. I am pleased to report the cancer is no longer in my hips or lungs as well as my PSA is 0.018. I will continue with Zometa every three months as well as the Lupron shot and have my PSA check every 3 months also. My leukemia numbers are all back in line now also since stopping chemo.
On a side note they have discovered a stress fracture on my one hip from the bone scan that did not seem to show up on prior bone scans. I will wait for an appointment from a orthopedic surgeon to see whether it will heal on its own with some help from the Zometa or if I require screws and a plate.
I am extremely happy and still very optimistic, but it always seems to be one thing or another.

I also posted this in the G9 thread in case some read that thread versus this one.
