My husband is going in on Monday for his biopsy to have this done.
He had surgery 16 years ago, been on Lupron since, has had most of the drugs in those 16 years, 5 years ago 6 treatments of Taxotere, a month on Zytiga that wreaked havoc on his liver, and about 4 1/2 years on Xtandi. A new spot was found in his pelvic area earlier this year so, 5 treatments of Jevtana and his PSA was higher before treatment #5 than when chemo began. He has now had a CT scan and ultrasound done and we visit the doctor today for his PSA test to be repeated and get his 4 week Lupron check, also the results of the ultrasound. His doctor said we are now needing information for treatment, so this was his call. We are hoping and praying for some answers! I think the dr said it takes about 2 weeks to get the results. Hoping they can get the tissue needed from the growth in the pelvic area. Will let you know in 2 weeks what happened! We are using Foundation1 for the testing.
