So, I'm on AS and had a PSA reading of 3.5 one month ago. Uro looked at this, gave me a DRE and exam, and basically said "looks stable, see you in 6 months for your next biopsy." Great. Now I can mentally put this away until Christmas.
This week I go for my annual physical. Due to an apparent administrative error, they do a PSA test again (same lab as used last month.) Result comes back at 4.0.
My Question: Should I push the uro to accelerate the timetable next scheduled biopsy? I have asked him his thoughts but have not yet received an answer. My PSA history is a bit variable (see sig).
Thanks
Paul
