Sorry for your losses Halbert. Life changes can really add to the stress levels.

I started Xtandi a little over 8 months ago with a castrate resistant PSA of around 95.
Still responding well. Last PSA was down to 1.5, so far.

Sorry for your loss Halbert. My last three PSA exams in Jan 07, April 07, and July 07 have been <09, .11 and now .10. Had surgery in Nov 14, about three years ago. Its probably going to go up sooner or later but we will test again in Oct.

Hal, sorry about everything you had to deal with this summer, hopefully your PSA result will be good. I'm having a PSA test in 10 days and even though I have been in the zero club for 8 years I still get nervous before a test. My last PSA test in Feb. was .01 which was the first time it didn't have the "<" sign in front and that is why I'm retesting 6 months later.

Halbert- you've had a terrible run of events lately. It's very difficult to lose a parent. Hopefully, the passage of time will yield an acceptance of your mother's death, a new and better job, and good results on upcoming tests. Best of luck. Things should get better.

Darn! That's one heck of a kick in the balls of a year!!

And I'm just worried about my PSA. Perspective, perspective, perspective.

Mom and Dad died 10 years ago, Dad bad heart, Mom a broken heart. 61+ years together.

Best friend died that same year from a stab in the heart.

Late April first detectable in 3+ years 0.18 , 6 weeks later in early June 0.30, waiting until Aug 24th for next test.

Ok guys and gals...I had a 2nd interview this afternoon, and I should be getting a written offer sheet via email soon. It sounds like an exciting opportunity, and I told him I could start Monday.

Jazzman...I start Monday. I'll bring up my various calendar commitments at that time...which is also when they'll find out that I'm a PC patient--with something like a 90% cure probability.

Thanks Hal but we are headed the other direction. Going to Traverse City, MI till we cross Canada to get to Rochester. Great to hear that you landed on your feet with another job.

Hey Halbert.... I just saw yoou got the job! Congratulations!! I knew you had in in ya!!

August results are in. Successfully crossed the 2 year barrier (actually, 26 months) at <.04. I am thankful.

Two years out as far as the ED goes, I seem to have plateaued. I can get anywhere from 50 to maybe 75% of what I need. PED5's (Cialis, Viagra) have had minimal impact. I have been doing the daily 1/4 pill for therapy. However, there's a couple new ones I was just given samples of this to try. They are 200 mg Stendra, and 10mg Staxyn (which I have been told is an under the tongue version of Levitra). I also have found a formulation of Trimix that works good enough with only minimal ache, but sorry, minimal ache still sucks, as do taking the shots. yeah
