Hi
I'm posting for my friend, who doesn't have a computer. He underwent surgery for prostate removal, nerve sparing. Since the catheter was removed he is completely incontinent. He is using the disposable diaper/underwear and very depressed. He tried the pads and they leaked, so went back to the disposables.
He is doing a lot of kegels but not much improvement, he said only a little improvement from the beginning.
He had prostate cancer 10 years ago and had the radiation/seeds and wonders if that has given him worse incontinence than someone who didn't have that.
At this point he had no choice to do surgery, as he was turned down for HIFU and a second round of radiation.
Anyone have incontinence that improved in time?
If he doesn't get improvement what can be done?
