My six month PSA test is in: .3
That's the lowest so far and I am very happy with that number.

They also told me that I don't have Hepatitis C. Still waiting to find out why they ordered that test. Likely one of those, "Let's test everyone on the HMO plan - just a click of a button folks." weird.

Here's hoping you all find nadir.

Congratulations on the new low nadir!

If you've got (1) decent insurance and (2) a good primary care physician, and (3) you are a baby boomer, then you are getting tested for HepC: READ.

If your doctor didn't even tell you about it, then consider that 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts! I am very happy with my results.

and I got a reply to why they did the Hepatitis C test that basicly said, "As we mentioned in last month's email..." and gave me the same link NKinney shared. Apparently I am not so good at reading the HMO's or my doctor's email blasts.

Congrats on the latest number. And who reads all that “junk mail” anyway? I probably miss more important stuff just because it’s buried in a stack of papers that came in the same envelope. And forget about emails. A couple hundred of those a day and you start deleting everything.

Andrew--Nice 5-year results. You're still a young man, so the low PSA combined with the absence of the Hepatitis C virus predicts a long and happy life.
