1st self injection

ok so i finally had the nerve to do the self injection of trimix. Had mixed reaction. O it got hard, 1st time i was able to penatrate in a year (YEA) but the darn thing stayed hard forever. Ended up giving shot to relieve the thing and I also had some pain. 4.0 amount. What's next? Can i just use lesser amount and still get erect and shorten the amount of time it stays hard and what about the pain. Any comments plz.

From my experience I would try 1/3 of what doctor ordered and see what happens

You can always increase the dose on the 3rd try

With TRIMIX you go up or down depending on the duration of erection. TRIMIX works for about 80% of users but should be titrated ti have optimal duration. No one wants erections lasting 2 hours or longer. It becomes painful and user might end in ER if it lasts longer then 4 hours.
I started using TRIMIX on April 19 and tonight was my 56th injction.
My erections are lasting on average 60-70 minutes with minimal pain. I am using TRIMIX for rehab mostly.

The “pain” or ache from the trimix is from one of the components of the trimix compound. about a third of men doing injections have this issue. Switching to a Bimix compound without the ache causing agent, is what many men do to avoid the pain problem. Talk to your Uro about switching to a bimix prescription if the pain issue persists.

My experience is that one needs at least a dozen injections to get the injection technique and dose dialed to one's individual needs. So yes, drop back (1/3 of what the doctor suggested is a good starting point) on your current dosage and slowly increase till you find the correct balance between hardness and duration.

I am one of the 30% that had extreme pain. at 20 units of a weak mix. Went to bimix 30-1 and am up to 40 units and still not useable. I experimented with just 4 units of the trimix, mixed with 36 units of the bimix. Got a very decent erection that lasts 2 hrs with tolerable pain. A little pain is worth it.

The problem that your erection lasts too long is easily solvable by reducing the dose. That would also help with the pain reaction as well. Whether it helps enough is still a question. I used to get a bit of an ache from trimix but it either got better or I became accustomed to the pain. If I were you I'd try to find a lesser dose that still works before I switched to bimix. If you can get the duration down to a sensible amount of time the returning blood flow after you detumesce should wash away the drugs and you wouldn't hurt as long.

I am a bit confused about the amount of trimix you used. "4.0 amount" confuses me. The insulin syringes that are generally used for trimix will hold a maximum of 1cc = 1ml = 100 "units". 4 units would be a tiny little amount -- using 1/25th of the syringe -- and you'd have to completely fill the syringe four times to get 4ml. I'm guessing you meant 40 units. 40 units (0.4ml) would be a more ordinary amount to inject. If you got an excessively long erection from 40 units I'd drop back to, say, 15 units and work your way up (5 units at a time) until you find the magic.
