Sadly, it happens - both DX as a result of TURP and agressive PC with a low PSA. With a PSA that low and being treated for BPH, few would even consider PC as a possibility. I would doubt that biopsy would be recommended at this point. They could send the slides from the TURP out for a second opinion.
The more agressive PC variants generate little PSA - still there are treatments. Radiation in combination with HT is a possibility. Since you're going to see a URO (who is a surgeon) you'll likely hear all about surgical options.
It's all scary, but you have options and treatment possibilities. Even aggressive PC can be treated. We have men here who survived the PC can dish out for years, decades.
The thing you need to do now is to learn all you can. Checkout the sticky threads at the top of the forum, ask your doctors lots of questions, and ask all the questions you want here - we're here most days.
