Gleason pattern 3 cells do not metastasize.
In your situation, in my opinion one of two possible things are going on:
Either you are jumping the gun to think that there is any recurrence in your case...I believe this is most likely, with your still very low PSA results. Very small (thousandths place) variations in ultra-sensitive PSA test results frequently cause unneeded patient anxiety.
Or your surgery pathology missed some cells with Gleason pattern >3...which happens (because remember that every cubic centimeter of the prostate is
not examined), but happens only infrequently.
Again, standby, and continue to monitor PSA in April...that result will likely be much more revealing. Too low to react now.
