If you're on a serious diet for prostate cancer, BMI is going down.
I lost 40 lbs and was never overweight to start with.
It seems like having a palatable routine was important to this study.
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, less meat . . . doesn't cut it.
I start the day with a cup of green tea. Wait 30 minutes and have
2 oz dry steelcut oatmeal cooked with 3.2 oz water and 1.5 oz almond
milk plus about
2 walnuts. I take a 3 mile walk starting within 10 min
after finishing the oatmeal. I have no other liquids within 90 min of
finishing the oatmeal. I don't think that was part of this study. The
oatmeal is chewy, not something anyone is going to do it not instructed.
How about
some extra water, or milk, or fruit on the oatmeal? Each of
these will independently kill the diet. How about
some ginger in the tea?
That's OK, just don't chew it or you have likely killed your diet.
There many ways to kill a vegan diet. The researchers do not give any
indication they understand what a successful diet entails.
