Time to nadir

My psa was 67 at Dx. Before EBRT psa was 2.93 starting Lupton shots and Bicalutamide two months prior to EBRT. After EBRT psa is .07

Should I be happy or discouraged? I have seen articles stating a rapid time to nadir is associated with poorer out comes. Is mine a rapid decline?

This psa test was prior to my starting Zytiga. I am currently on my sixth week of Zytiga.

Don,
I would not pay much attention to that. Your response has been great so far. My psa went from 40 to <.05 immediately after treatment and has not risen in nearly 10 years.

Quicker time to nadir is only prognostic in men who are NOT on ADT. ADT, if it's working, causes PSA to plunge.

Is the .07 my nadir or Is it when I am off ADT that I find out my nadir?

0.07 - it's always your lowest PSA, regardless of whether you were on ADT at the time.

So in my case with a PSA of <0.1, it's already at the nadir (and has been for nearly a year now)?

I thought I would be looking for the nadir after the effects of the ADT/Lupron wear off and my T-level recovers.
