I was dx as a 4+5=9 back in June of 2010. Had open RRP in July followed by 24 months of Lupron. Just had my six month psa done last week, and I’m still a zero! I love reading “non-detect” on that lab report 8 years later! My uro has started using the “cured” word which he nor I ever expected. Back in 2010, he genuinely expected to be aggressively treating advanced pc by now. But I thank God for His healing grace and my uro’s sugery skills.

But I did want to encourage other G9’s who are beginning the journey. There is hope.

I see you have had that implant for a lot of these years. Is that something you are glad you did?

Excellent news on the 8 year report. I had my last injection of Lupron yesterday. My numbers are very good. My oncologist believes that I will start feeling better in about 6 months. I hope my ED gets fixed. 2 years in the dead zone was not in the literature!

Naples - You mentioned an excellent MO in a previous post - is he/she in Naples? I live in SW FL and we have travelled a similar path. After two years of zero PSA following RP, RT and ADT it’s just now starting to rise. So...I’m now in the market for a local MO...Gene
