Interesting. I have found that a low carb diet is the only way I have been able to successfully lose weight. It's not necessarily easy, but I find it mostly do-able. This seems to suggest plant-based protein is better than animal-based, which makes sense.
As a treat for this summer, I've suspended my low carb intake between the 4th of July and Labor Day--we'll have to see how much weight I will have added during this two-month period.
I pretty much am doing the same thing as you. low carb works for me, it's really the only diet that I've found works for me especially over the longer term. I was down about
25lbs as of late June, then went on family vacation and am also on a break until Labor day timeframe. I'm up about
5 pounds to date after roughly 1.5 months into the break period. Trying to practice moderation during the break period as best possible.
