Quick: what color represents Prostate Cancer?
What month is PC Awareness Month?
Now, how about
Breast Cancer...color? Month? Bet you know this.
(BC: Pink/October. PC: Light Blue/September.
The Pink Army has done beyond an amazing job over the last few decades in awareness, support, reaching out, seems like every month is BC Awareness month. Even men's professional sports teams wear Pink in October.
Since next month is PC Awareness month, I'm looking for ideas on how to be involved in my local area.
It will be 5 years ago this coming January that I was diagnosed, I'm beyond thankful and blessed that my PSA is undetectable (especially with my diagnosis, see below).
I do a decent job of asking men if they know what their PSA number is, and I am part of a lunch group with 3 other PC survivors, but as another PC awareness month approaches; I'm looking for how others participate in it.
Groups like: PCF, Zero, ACS do promote PC month, but what are you doing in your area?

I have my Ribbon pin, it's light blue and I have more to pass out.

I've been thinking of making PC 'ribbons' from walnut. Maybe some kind of name tag.
Pictures, later.

I think the ribbon should be white but that is just my twisted humor.

Hello Micah68 ~
There's a 5K charity walk for PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS in September in my area ---
I participated last year, to lend my support, to fellow comrades --- and I'm signed up again for this year.
And yes, wear LIGHT BLUE ! Often !
Thanks for your brotherhood, here on the forum,
