Well it's been 10 years this February (2018) that my wife and I received the news of PC (G9, PSA=32). A real punch in the gut is was. My prayers were answered, though, in getting to attend my sons wedding and seeing my last daughter move up in her career. Not only did I get my prayers answered, though, but I have remained in complete remission since August, 2016 (PSA< 0.006, T=400)
We all peruse these prostate forums searching for encouragement - and I still do. The variation of this stupid disease really amazes me. What astonishes me is the totally different battle fronts that this disease takes all of us.
Stay encouraged - particularly you newbies. Be tenacious, continue to ask questions to your satisfaction, and don't abdicate your treatment to someone else.
