Hi Siuberto Socarras, This is something that can happen to anyone especially men as they age. The older you get the more frequent the problem. I started having it in my early 40's due to degenerative disk disease. My urologist at the time convinced me to have a TURP which looking back wasn't the best idea nor was the Finasteride prescription since I had nerve damage. You’ll probably need intermittent catheterization to release the urine from your bladder unless the cause of your urinary retention can be address with medication.
I have done this 6 times a day for over 20 years. It isn't as bad as you might think and it will prevent your kidneys from shutting down. You can reuse the catheters using alcohol wipes. The key is washing your hands well each time.
