First PSA tomorrow

RP 11/27/18, going in for my first psa tomorrow morning. My T3a thing has me freaked out, I feel like getting an over/under pool going to at least make a few bucks on it no matter how it comes out! You guys know the drill, good news, bad news who knows? It’s hard to stay between the lines, a real mental/spiritual challenge. Sometimes it takes over, no fun at all. Good or not so good, I honestly don’t know how to react. We’ll see, I figure you’ve all been through it time and time again, I’ll let you know, lots of respect for you all.

Wow, amazing. 9 years of active surveillance, I couldn’t make it past 2 months, such fortitude. I’m sure you’ll do fine because you’ve followed everything closely all these years

I think you’ve been following a good program for your PCa. You may already have better coping skills from your AS than you may believe. You’ll make it through the PSA test.

Just went through that on Tuesday. There was an email notice from urologist office when I got home. I did not access the site until that evening. I had too much to do and did not want to ruin the day. I accessed the notice that night and it was only an office visit report with routing instructions. Arghhh!

The next morning got a note from doctor saying the PSA was undectable at 3 mos. I was relieved but also knew that it is just one of many of these moments with PCa, some good, some not so good, which go on forever now. It is getting easier each time but never fails to elevate the blood pressure.

Thanks so much you guys , Numbers came in undetectable, i’m grateful , my Church was the first stop I made after the doctors office. Things don’t always work the best possible way but today they did. Thanks again
