Thanks, Oldbeek. I am going to wait until my 2 upcoming doctor visits to see what they say and then I may look up one of the people you suggest. Up to my last visit I was only keeping my urologist informed of what I was experiencing, and not really complaining, hoping that I would experience the improvement many say they get after about a year. I hammered the urologist hard on my last visit. He told me he had never had anybody as animated as I was and said he was going to confer with some other doctors. I will see what he comes up with and what my general practitioner has to say. Along with researching cancer sites I have dug into experiences of land mine survivors and even FTM transgender surgeries to figure out what they do. I learned a lot, but not much of it good. Doesn't seem to be any way to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. Successful surgeries for urethra lengthening are very few. The urologist told me he took about 3 inches of mine, which pretty much corresponds to my problem. I just don't understand the urethra tugging going on when sitting down vs standing.
You need talk to a surgeon that does reconstruction after traumatic injuries. These are the guys that specialize in getting you back to normal. These are the same guys that perform implants. They fix things after you get all f_____ up by someone else. Go to the top repair guys and get it fixed. You wouldn't go to a GP to treat prostate cancer, so why are you asking a URO that specializes in RARP ( and removing 3 1/2 inches of urethra sounds like he may have not been the greatest at RP guy around ), about
a specialty restoration job.
