Greetings,
Would Trimix work for those whose nerves were not spared? I know of the pros and cons of Trimix, but know nothing on the effects on those with non sparing surgery. As for me my Doc has me on 20mg of Viagra a day , with taking a Super dose (100mg) once a week. Today, I’m 7 weeks post op and at 80%-85% of erectile efficiency ( I Had nerve sparing). How would Trimix work for those that had a RP and are Diabetic?

Sorry for the misunderstanding, the question/topic is pertaining to a good friend of mine that's 2 months ahead of me; he had surgery in June 2019. The topic came up yesterday after church, as we met for lunch and we were comparing notes. Still, thanks for the rapid response.

To make sure we answer your question for your friend: Yes, trimix works even for men whose erectile nerves are gone. It's not guaranteed. There are other problems that can occur that trimix won't fix but the loss of the nerves is something it can help with. It works for something like four out of five guys who try it, even if the nerves are gone.

If your friend had his surgery in June and has nothing going on with his erectile response he should be talking to his surgeon about things he can do to help it along. If he knows his nerves were taken then he has very little chance of ever recovering natural erections and will need some sort of help but, even if his nerves were spared and he hopes to recover, trimix might still be a good idea for him while he waits. A man needs several erections a week to keep his erectile tissues oxygenated and to prevent shrinkage. Normally, a man gets several erections a night during R.E.M. sleep which is enough. But damage to the erectile nerves can interfere with these nocturnal erections and, if pills won't work while he is waiting for his nerves to recover trimix can help keep his tissues from atrophy. A vacuum erection device (a penis pump) also helps somewhat but is not as good.

Different doctors have different regimens for penile rehabilitation after prostate surgery so your friend will need to talk to his doctor about what and when but after four months it's time for him to start the conversation.
