Testicle pain after simple Prostatectomy

I had a simple computerized prostatectomy on 08/12/ 2019. No cancer even after the Path.
Catheter was out after a week. I couldn't urinate. Catheter was placed back with lots of difficulties using a cystoscope and a guide wire to place the catheter.
Doc. said during the procedure that everything was good inside as far as distal urethra and bladder. He saw some blood clots from recent surgery in proximal urethra which made the insertion difficult. Catheter in again for another 7 days. The catheter was out after 7 days.
They told me right after surgery that I'm going to pee as a 18 year old guy. It did not happen.
I do have a week flow, frequent urination. The night frequency start to improve a bit. I still have pain when urinate feeling like something is blocking the urine.
In top of this I have a testicle infection and inflammation. They put me on Bactrim for 10 days. After the first 2-3 days the pain went down a bit.
I'm on the 5th day and the pain start to coming back. I tried some Ibuprofen but I red that Ibuprofen will make retain urine.. I'm going to quit it and use only Bactrim.
Does anybody had this kind of symptoms? How long will take, if will take, to get better?

Definitely sounds like you need a more involved urologist. That being said, I have to ask...why did you have a prostatectomy? No cancer was found?

However, those kinds of symptoms should resolve in a few weeks after catheter removal. Unless you are getting a stricture. As for the other aches and pains--yeah, they happen. Lots of things are moving around inside you, lots of other things got pushed, tugged, bumped, etc., so they take time to heal.

I'd encourage you to walk as much as you can. Drink lots of water. Eat healthy.
