Hurray! Two years after my final Lupron shot, my testosterone has DOUBLED... all the way up to 36, from 18 just six months ago. This is like finding a penny and thinking "wow, I am now TWICE as rich as I was yesterday!"
Still wondering what my PSA is though. They posted the T but not the PSA.... I've called them twice.
Everyone understand why I feel that they treat me differently from everyone else now?
I hear ya Rob. A time or two back, it’d been 10 days since my blood draw, and still no results. I gave ‘em a visit. It was on a Friday (close to closing time). I didn’t rally go ballistic until the nurse told me she knows what it is but can’t tell me until Tuesday (holiday weekend) when the doctor comes back.
LOL. That’s when I said, “Listen! Everyone in this office is more concerned about
getting out of here than they are about
my cancer. I have no problem with that. You have lives, and you’re chaffing at the bit to get out of here and back to them. But listen. It’s been TEN DAYS since my blood draw. You know my number. And you want me to go home and wait TWO WEEKS to find out what my CANCER is doing? NO WAY THAT’S HAPPENING! Find the doctor. Make calls. Do whatever it is you’ve got to do but, I’m not leaving here without that number!”
I got my number. It took about
20 seconds.
(I’ve actually had to do that 2 or 3 times.
