I am writing for my husband who posted a few days ago about Zytiga side effects and his experience with extreme fatigue and very weak lower legs. Well, it got worse and had to go by ambulance to ER because he could not stand alone...or walk down the deck steps or get into a car. He got checked out and they sent him to Memorial Hermann in Woodlands, TX.....found the Zytiga was leaking enzymes which was breaking down muscles. He has been in the hospital 5 days now....and still cannot move much...turn over in bed....nothing. They took him OFF Zytiga and are trying to let it get out of his system. Now he also has a kidney problem He will have to go to rehabilitation when hospital releases him until he can at least walk with a cane, etc. He had done really well for 9 years....Lupron, radiation, Zometa, etc. He started Zytiga Jan. 20 after two different of his doctors said he needed it to stop the cancer from spreading. He is 82...but pretty healthy otherwise. He now has Rhabdomyolosis. He was one of the rare cases....when Zytiga did harm rather than good. Just an update....
