Hi,

My first post here.  I feel so lucky to have found this site and see the active discussions between people who are in exactly the same place I am, or who have recently gone through all the same decisions.

I was diagnosed 11/21/06, PSA 3.5 (now 3.76), Gleason 6, 3 of 12 cores positive, stage T1c.  I see many others on this site who are considering the same options I am or who have made them and are now in recovery.  All the discussions are very helpful!

I will be reviewing as many of the historic threads as possible to see if my questions have been answered but may post some new topics if I don't find what I'm looking for.

Best regards, and God bless to all who have need to post on this site.  Please know that you sharing makes a difference for others, no matter what you may think.  Wow, it is a shock to see how many there are of us out here in the same boat.

welcome Markus! that is what I used to call my younger brother Marc. yes, there are a lot of us here, and all for the same reason. please feel free to ask anything. someone has probably already been there and thought of it. God bless you, too. kat :-)

Hi, Markus. Yes, this site is one that all prostate docs/urologists should recommend to their patients! It's better than a consultation - and it's free!

Welcome Markus,

This really is a great site and so very helpful.  My husband and I were and are grateful that we also found it.  I agree with GreenAcres that this site should be given to all patients of PC.  It is so helpful because all the forums/threads that are here are from people who have actually been through it and can share their experiences.

Hi Markus,

I am glad that you found this site. I stumbled on it myself less than a month ago. Although I have had a great deal of support from my wife and family, sometimes you feel like no else understands what you are going through. Well on this site they do.

Here you will find a lot of helpful detailed information, get good advice, and meet some wonderful people.
