Rickard,
My physician told me that after a radical prostatectomy in which the vas deferens are removed, the sperm is "ejaculated" into the remaining (short) tubes and there they die and are reabsorbed by the body.
Some celebate priests might enlighten us on the long-term effects of this re-absorbtion.
I suspect there is some conservation of "energy."
The human body is a culture of bacteria! It is when any particular bacterium or group of bacteria are allowed to grow exponentially that infections occur.
Hopefully others here can better advise on this particular type of inflamation.
How are things in Sweden? How is your golf game?
