Quick update on pasayten journey...

Hello All...  Just a quick update...

-- Just got my first post-op (DaVinci 4/24) psa results after 12 weeks...  0.01 !!!

Hooooray...

-- Incontinance minimal...  down to 1 small pad a day in case I forget to kegal when lifting/sneezing/laughing or tired at late evening.

-- ED has improved (today) to about 50-60% erection, with penetration and climax w/o "assistance" except for 50mg "Viagra" (I am using $2 Caverta 100mg cut in half) and KY to ease friction with less than 100% erection...

All in all, I feel I am now really on the "other side" and have beat this $@*%! PCa with God's help and blessing and the wonderful support, love and care from my wife Avis, family, and friends...  especially those of you on this forum who have given such wonderful support and words or wisdom and experiences.

I will go back thru HW "my journey" pages and create a condensed version of my journey for reposting and future updates...

Sounds like you're a textbook case...you WILL persevere on all fronts!

Going to Google "Caverta". Haven't heard of that one. Sounds like some great improvements there!

Congratulations on your PSA results! What a relief after all the waiting. I'm 6 weeks post-robotic at Virginia Mason, with first PSA scheduled for September. A bit nervous, but the surgery went well and I'm hopeful I'll do as well as you did! No pads, but working on the ED issue. Maybe 30% with 100 mg Viagra, but VMMC team tells me that only 6 weeks post-surgery is too early to make any determination of how things will turn out. They recommend I stay at current dose for another 6 weeks week. Hopefully, I'll be able to report a 60% return to normal at 3 months as you have!

Way to go Ray!!!

We love those zeros. And with continence under control and 60%, things are definitely looking up. Great news all around..
