Well, its the day, and I know you are relieved to get to it. I know I was. Even though it may a little while before you read this, here's 2 learnings from my experience last week that may help.
1. You won't be a sick patient long, bouncing back is fast.
2. Take the medicine until it is gone, don't stop because you feel better.
3. The catheter bag will become more 'normal' in a couple of days. In my case, it took some 'tweaking' to get it to fit right. The nurse at the hospital who gave the care and use instructions had it wrong, so it took me a couple days to figure it out.
Yeah, I know I said 2 learnings.
