I don't know if I can word this right but will try.
You ladies on this forum are truly amazing. You adjust to this PCa situation much better than we guys do. That's probably because you understand what we are going through much better than we do. The possibility of peeing our pants and not being able to get it up just scares us to death, to the point where we have a difficult time even thinking about it. Yet you are always there, comforting, supporting and loving us. What a gift you are - not only to your men but to all of us guys that log in here.
My first posts in November 2006 were answered by Bluebird, M.Kat and Linda(lawink). Your responses surprised me. You treated me with respect and understanding even when my statements and questions were so naive. Because of you I stayed here and would probably not be alive now if I had left.
Then I read Swimom's responses. She scared me at first by her frankness and knowledge. I wasn't sure if I wanted to risk talking to her. But when I did, she was so very caring and helpful. She worked me through my misconceptions and ignorance of PCa and its effects.
Later I read Susan, Tanya, Lana and Chayna whose posts are so sweet and caring. They hug my heart whenever I read them. Their support and love for their guys comes through each time they write. And their support for each other is amazing.
Finally my wife MaryLu is my primary support. She props me up when I am about to fall over. She doesn't post here very much but insists that I keep her updated on you all. And she sends you all her love and thanks.
I risk offending any of you ladies that I have not mentioned and I apologize. Be assured that you are in my heart and thoughts.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Lets get well together...
Jim
