Blood in Urine

I have read about this before not sure what to do. Before Cather removal, had little whole blood clots. Now when I stand at the Toilet, I’ll get drops of Blood, it has been only 2 days since Cather removal. Any ideas? thanks

Fatcat, this is normal for someone in your stage of recovery. You will probably have some bleeding and blood in your urine off and on for a few weeks, more when you exert yourself.....just take it easy for a few weeks and it will really help with your recovery...jwb.

I had dark urine off and on for about a month, beginning a month or so after surgery.

Urologist said it was probably old blood from the bladder and nothing to worry about. No problems with it now and received no treatment for it.
