Sorry I'm late to this thread, Julie, and sorry to hear of this latest turn of events. I know the waiting has got to be very hard. You and you're husband will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Julie I am new to the forum. I will be praying for you and your husband. How long has he had PC? I was diagnosed last year and I am glad to find this forum to communicate with folks.

You guys are great.  The ultrasound appointment is booked for Wednesday and although they can't tell us anything, at least the urinalysis and ultrasound will be done and results back to the doctor in time for the cystoscopy.  I'm going to that appointment with the hopes the doctor will be able to give us some answers right away.

Here's hoping for good results - thanks so much for keeping us close.

I’m going to ring in here since I’m a fellow radiation member. I think the urologist is just using caution. One reason why, other then insurance, I went with IGRT vs. Brachytherapy was that with Brachytherapy there is a high risk of narrowing of the urethra / urinary obstruction after treatment. Your husband could have just over worked the sphincter to cause some bleeding.
