 Fever went up to 100.6 and bleeding from penis where catheter enters. Called doc and he said this is all normal. Anybody else have this problem when they came home?

We think we have figured it out. He's got some kind of virus and don't think its the prostectomy after all. Sniffling, stuffy...that kind of stuff. Its not a good time for this but I would rather it be a virus than something to do with the surgery!

I've got him on tylenol and advil and watching him like a hawk. I might even be driving him crazy!  :)

Of course, the hospital is the best place to catch something! You're taking good care of your husband and I just bet he'll do well. Like Lee said - be sure to get yourself some rest. You've got a lot to deal with and don't need to be coming down with something, too!

I did not have any bleeding, but I did have a low grade fever for at least 3 weeks. 100.6 is still considered low-grade....at least by my dr's standards.
