Does anyone have or know where to read this new report on plastic containers and prostate cancer?

I know this has been discussed before in the science field but last night there was a new study about certain plastics that when re-heated produce a hormone that has been directly linked to prostate cancer in rats.

With all these young men coming on this site I just wonder if this has merit.  With many of us all continuously reheating our left overs in plastic containers as well as new health consious dinners like "Health Choice" and "Lean Cuisine" .

I have told my son who is in College to avoid this practice as much as possable.  College students live out of re-heated plastic containers.

I knew a gal whose ex made a point of telling her that you should NEVER cook in plastic, as when you heat the stuff in a microwave, all the safety and stability issues go out the window. Interestingly enough, he was a spin doctor for the plastics industry.

I have avoided immersing my life in plastics (as best I can) for a long time so I consider it ironic that I should come down with this...if it is indeed a causal factor. Mind you, I worked with foams and resins when I was in my 20's. As of today, it appears that Canada is discussing the banning of BPAs in bottles, etc.

Haven't seen this before, but there may be something to it.  The difficulty is to eliminate or reduce the ubiquitous plastics that we all use in cooking. 

There is also a presumptive connection between  Agent Orange defoliant used in the Vietnam War and many nasty diseases, including prostate cancer.   I'm a Blue Water Vietnam Veteran and submitted a claim to the VA related to prostate cancer, but so far no news.

The cancer/plastic relationship has been well established. Poor family of mine is forever getting the "don't use plastic" routine. Estrogen like chemicals cause all sorts of potential issues with long term exposure. What next?
