Walter...Here I come...War Eagle, Baby.
I had a prayer answered in a great way today. I spoke to Walt on Friday and we talked about how we are trying to get together. Two weeks ago I flew to Jacksonville and wanted to take a side trip to see my buddy there. Well our finances are not like they used to be. We struggle to keep what we have right now. While in Jacksonville I reunited with many friends. One in particular, today has my heart sailing above the clouds. She is a wonderful lady named Sheryl. We have worked at the same company more than ten years and she heard about my plight to get to see our friend War eagle! She told me that she just may be able to help. Her husband works at Southwest Airlines. And today, I received a buddy pass in the mail. AMEN.
I am very touched by this charity. My heart is still too high to grasp, but I will use this pass humbly. Thank you to Sheryl, Jeff, Julie, and anyone else involved in this blessing. Namely my Lord above. This prayer answer is one that is hard to explain. But I don't need to explain it. I was led to a very special lady, and I was blessed with the means to make this meeting happen.
I wanted to share this with you all. I posted today on my blog that I have tremendous Faith in our world. Too many times I read about the bad news. I have had a great last two weeks. I saw over a hundred people whom I Love and respect. I went to the University of Iowa where afetr seven years of work, finally got to see the campus wide voice network that I personally engineered and designed. I had two cancer markers come back clean. I got to see my family in California. My story was featured in a cancer publication and was released Wednesday. I now I have the means to head to Trussville Alabama. This ticket is my Vette. It's my special thing I did once I got cancer. And I will cherish it so.
Who says there is no life after cancer.
STAY POSITIVE!!!
