Jim, I just returned from vacation. Too bad our meeting got held up due to this. Maybe when you whup this one you will take ML on a trip and head this way.

Jim,
Been out of town working and came across your good news today. This is wonderful and all indicators point to a good result!
My sister had lung cancer, it was caught early, had her left lung removed and she is 6 years out. She fortunately needed no further treatment. So I'm hoping for the same great result for you!
We all love you Jim - you bring a voice of wisdom and reason to our board - we need that!

Hey Jim,

The 25th seem like as good a day as any, an just enough time to get ready but not too much time to make the wait too painful. I know in my heart that you will come out of this stronger than ever! You'll be back in the saddle of that Harley before you know it!

Biker,

Just want you to know we have been thinking about you. I have been reading all your posts. One of the reasons I came back was to tell you how much you have meant to us and I know this surgery will be a piece of cake. How? Cause my mom went thru it. She is 80. Doing great and running around like it never happened. They took out one half of the left lung. Sure it was alittle hard on her at first but she really is doing great now. We will be thinking of you and wish you a very happy recovery.

I haven't written much in this thread because, well, because I just didn't know what to say. But I have held you in my thoughts. And now I know you're going to beat this. I know it and I hope you know it, too.

I'm so glad you have a surgery date.  I hope having a solid date provides some comfort that you'll take a big step in fighting this new challange.

I'm hoping to see you on July 3rd or 4th if you're feeling up to it following surgery.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey Folks,

I wish I could change the title of this thread to "Good News for Biker". We saw the oncologist yesterday and I will start chemo in September. Historically that drops the LCa recurrence rate from 55% to 35%. I updated "Jim's Space" with a few more details.

Hey Gang,

I start chemo on Friday 9/5 and go every 3 weeks for 4 cycles. Its a relief to have the schedule and feel like I'm making progress with treatment. You all know how hard waiting is. I updated "Jim's Space" with some details...

I didn't see this before where you wanted to "upgrade" your title...you can if you want.  Go to your first post in this thread and click the edit, and you can change it... Here are some suggestions on what to change it to:
