Interesting article, indeed. Personally, I find an irreverence works well as a coping mechanism...which is why I got my radiation tattoo. I also spent quite a while checking out the pithy anti-cancer tee-shirts on cafepress.com , but I was disappointed that I couldn't find a really good one for PCa. There was one about
prostate cancer patients having a DRY sense of humour, but I figured that was too much info. Personally...my ideal choice of two-word statement may not be in the best of taste, but gets the message across.
I see us as doing battle daily, and I have no problem with an aggressive attitude towards an aggressive ailment. But God bless those that let us lower our guard from time-to-time, too.
