1 Year for IdahoSurvivor

Hello friends,

It has been an incredibly busy two weeks, but I wanted to get online this evening and thank all of you!

It was July 31, 2007 when I had laparascopic radical prostatectomy.... a scary time.  Soon after, I found this forum. 

You supported me through those difficult weeks following surgery, getting through the many changes in my body.   You encouraged me until I started feeling somewhat "normal" again.

You helped me get through my first post-surgery PSA test, congratulated me with sincerity, and you gave me courage to brace for those tests to come. 

You showed me how to be compassionate to others. 

You showed me how to laugh and to cry with good people who I have never met in-person, but feel a great connection with.

Thank you for every little thing and for helping me through this first year. 

I wish all the very best and comforting times with family and friends.

Thank you.  All I can say is that you have been a solid contributor and a great support to everyone on the forum.  

It was a pleasure to visit you and MaryLu in the hospital and be able to hear the doctor give you the good news that you were going home that day.  I can't believe it has alread been one month!

Also, thanks for always updating "Jim's Space" so we can keep track of your post-surgery progress. 

We are with you in this new fight and wish you the very best, good buddy.

I look forward to seeing you and MaryLu again in September.

Great news for you.  My, a year can really fly by when you are having fun.  Hope the PSA stays where it needs to be.
