Pain in Testicles

Almost eight months after rrp I still have occasional pain in the testicles which spreads up to the groin. I'm not sure if this is part of the healing process, but it does seem to be related to sexual activity, has anybody experienced this ?.

Probably the pain has nothing to do with the surgery. I have cysts on one testicle, and that causes a little pain now and then, but not during sex. Apparently such cysts are quite common.

You of course asked your urologist about this????

Talk to your doctor. Pain can be an indicator of many things, most of which are no big deal. Every time I've told my Urologist about a pain, discomfort or tenderness he checks what he can and has always said men will have pain there and sometimes there is no explanation. He encourages me to tell him anything that troubles me because everything is not nothing!

I had testicular pain -- my right testicle felt like it weighed about 10 pounds for weeks after da Vinci surgery. Had an ultrasound done, which was negative. It eventually went away though -- at about eight weeks. Ask your doc to check you for hernias though. I wound up with a double and had them repaired.

As Tom said, be sure you don't have an inquinal hernia, would produce those symptoms. In all likelihood it is just another of those mystery pains we all get, only now I think every pain or unusual sensation is cancer related, something I am trying to stop doing. It is easy to let the mind and preoccupation with cancer take over.
