Great News - Bone Scan Negatuve for Bone Mets

As previously told here I had a bone scan on the 19th because an MRI showed suspected metastasis in L5 and S1.  Got a call from my doctor today that the results of the bone scan was good, meaning no cancer!

It has been a long 10 days.  Not much was discussed about it during this time but it was not far from our minds. I need not tell you this but I and my immediate family are elated.

We are believers and give thanks to GOD for this blessing.

My next step is my quarterly PSA in late January.

Thanks to all who provided encouragement. We wish everyone a very happy New Year with continued success with treatments.

Ask him if you can get a copy or how much it might cost for such. I got hard copy xrays on ct and bone scans, great for second opinions by folks who can read them (radiologists etc.), you can see if you had and old bone fracture or such, it shows up. I don't know if you can get a copy of MRI, but ask you paid for the service or your insurance did (same idea).

Anyway really good to hear especially when you were in for suspicious L5 & S1, that would be something nobody would want to hear for PCa in vertebrate (they can radiate such spots to stop pain and maybe kill PCa cells within a region). But let's not even think about such stuff.

Richard that is great news. I have been waiting to hear the results. Come hang out with us a little more often. Have you seen how many people have responded to the "were are we from" post.
