More accurately it can be said: "full intercourse ending in orgasm is probably going to happen for most of us that went through surgery, but some might have to learn to be creative in the sack". Creativity being using pumps and rings, injections and pills. The orgasm is fairly easy to achieve. Men tend to be tied into the emotional weight (maybe determining manliness?) of wet orgasms (ejaculations), but I've not read a gal here that didn't appreciate a non-messy dry orgasm. The sensations are the same, just the results are different. And like someone said, now we can fake ours, also... The wife was happy this morning-that's good...how about you- have you experienced it yet?

James, my own post confused me too. What I meant, is, things for me after surgery are never ever going to be exactly the same with a physical ejection. My second point, and not trying to be vulgar, but we all know that women can be satisfied independent of sexual intercourse, i.e. oral, "toys", ,etc. And my real point, that during the ED healing periods for men with PCa, their other halves don't have to be out in the cold so to speak. That was my original intent.

What did I experience? Not sure, lol. I didn't expect anything for my own self, to be honest. Not at this point and under my circumstances. Ultimately, I felt some kind of build up, though no where near intense as the past, and then, a weird feeling of release. It's hard at this point in time for me to associate any type of a dry orgasm, without the release of ejaculate. I hope that makes sense. I felt fine, it was very mild, but also pleasant. To me, its a miracle I even had the abilty to experience what I did. I thought it was a good starting point.

I refuse to obsess on the ED part for myself. Again ,every man has his priorites, and that's their business. My wife and I are ok with all this, and we usually do, will work together. Perhaps it will get better still for me over time, I would like that. I think, it was good for the circulation and just getting my "gear" activated would have to viewed as a good thing, especially considering that I haven't ever taken a pill for ED in my life including as of yet, and the fact that my open RP is officially on the record book as a "non-nerve sparing" operation

Yes, when I see my dr. in about a week and a half, we will be discussing this.

what you described James, is more like it, it was more interanl. when it was time for my pleasure, i actucall completed, for the lack of a better word, must quicker then normal. Pre-surgery, mostly due to other meds I have been on, I had the opposite problem of some men, with a really prolonged ejaculation, sometimes resulting in a whole lot of effort with no release, which would be frustrating at times. Masterbastion, lol, as long as I have been married with a very good and active sex life, nothing I really do in recent memory, may have to rethink how I was in my younger single days, lol. If what I experienced was a real post surgery orgasm, no matter how small or weak, it makes me feel great knowing that it could get more intense and longer lasting in the future, I could get use to this over time.

Another one-use it or lose it.  This one may surprise you.  The doctors say that a really stiff one after a long period with out one can result in some serious pain.

David, you're doing better than I am here. I have a sharp pain around the meatus when I get greater than 90%. But it's not as bad as it used to be. The nurse practitioner said it's just due to the surgical trauma.
