Hi-I had penile implant surgery 11/26/2008. Four weeks after surgery I went for INFLATION checkup.....all was well. That was 5 weeks ago and I am wintering in Florida and away from my doctor.

I am having trouble with inflation.....The pump is extremely resistant...almost like its plugged.  Also I awake most mornings to an ache in my right

testical akin to being kicked.

Is there anyone out there who is having or has had similar problems.

Sorry you are having the problems.  As to the resisance of the pump, I am supposing that you can inflate but it is difficult?  I don't know what to say except sometimes my pump is a little difficult to squeeze.  Try small squezzes.  That may hel yp. But it will be important for you to contact your surgeon.  He probably could refer you to someone there in Fl.  It's better to be safe than... well you know.

 Sometimes I have a little pain in my testicle on the side where the implant pump is.  It usually happens when crossing my legs, or something like that.  My pain is minimal and I ignore it.  Again, best to talk with your doc.

Welcome to the forum -

First, a call to your doc is in order to just confirm if you have a problem or not. You didn't state the type of implant you have - From my experience, (with AMS 3-piece implant) the pump resistance can be due to many factors. One of mine was particularly difficult to pump at first. I was advised to soak in a warm tub - I was told that it would in effect make the tissues and implant a little more 'pliable'. It helped me - but this was an implant in the mid 1990's. I have had that ache as well. Same implant - this resolved over time as well - it was due to how I slept and the pump position. But again, everyone has a different healing curve, and all concerns need to be discussed with your doctor. Hope you will be feeling better soon.
