Bigote, just curious, how old are you and what is your psa ?

I too have enlarged prostate and am 50 yrs old and psa is 1.01

You asked about sexual side effects of Flomax.
I too had the Mother Of All BPH (140 ml size) and have been taking Flomax for about a month (but now have just had open RP surgery for PCa).
But for that whole month it was one helluva ride -- mostly just due to Flomax alone.
Before that I would have maybe 5-10 mins of a workable erection during any particular session.
After Flomax i was easily going for 20+ minutes and could have gone even longer but for considerations of my dear wife.
Also I had my Uro give me some samples of Viagra 12 @ 50 mg to experiment with. As you know you should not take V too soon after F,
but I found that by using F about 4 hours or so before V I was easily able to get by on only 25mg of V and get great results.
(and thus stretching out the supply of V greatly).

I did look around the web for studies on Flomax and erections and there were mentions of very rare priapses sometimes.
So even tho Flomax is aimed at a specific Alpha receptor in the prostate I think it also targeted blood vessels in the penis too,
or did for me.

Very grateful for that month of spectacular final activities since who knows now when things will be back again.
