Hi to all who replied to my query about
the AUS and its working after the implant. As i said in my earlier letter this will be the third try at the implant. The reason the first two failed is because of a money grabbing doctor who did not know what he was doing. And he is still doing the same thing to other men. Too bad we can't stop someone like that. The first failure came because the doctor said the pump failed. The second was installed only two months after the first one was removed. After the second one was draining after six weeks i was told to take antibiotics and come back in two weeks. I then got an appointment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn. I got there on a Friday morning and after many tests was being emergently operated at 11 PM that night. Had i not gone when i did i would be dead. After talking to the doctor he said Mayo had been installing Aus for thirty years and never had a pump failure. This was just about
a year ago and things have been delayed because i had an appendectomy, rupture and had to have an operation on the bladder neck. The doctor who is to operate on me has done ove 800 operations that other doctors have screwed up. Doctors at Mayo are paid a salary so there are no money grabbers there I will be operated on March 25 and i hope everything goes as planned, Thanks for all you replies and well wishes.
