For 19th months my PSA has been between 0.4 and 0.5, the latest this week 0.5, keep hoping it will go under 0.4 but looks like it is going to stay there, I know many here would love to be in my situation , but I can't understand after the op and radiation, I still have these figures, it also mystifies me that people here with much worse post operative pathology than mine, have an undetectable PSA?

Anyhow am seeing my Uro next week and we shall see what he says, physically I feel good and getting on with life.

I just can't answer that question. Our bodies have other ways of generating PSA. You just might be the oddball. But given your numbers, I would stay dilligent and watchful. It's not rising or falling, it is what it is.

Mal,
I just had my first post surgery psa in February, and mine came in at .05. Was a little disapointed too, thought that perhaps since it was supposedly contained, and you can see my stats, that it would be much lower. So, like many others here, already a little anxious about the 6 month test in May. My dr said it could go down, stay the same, and hopefully not go up. I wonder if some of our differences is in the testing itself, but not qualified enough to know how to answer that. I agree with Bro. Tony, enjoy that life!
